With multiple clinical sites in Detroit, Southgate, and Westland, we are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals by providing an array of comprehensive behavioral and physical health services in a trauma informed environment that promotes quality of life, continuous improvement, social awareness and healing.

We are presently seeking a full-time Recruiter to work out of our corporate office in Dearborn, Michigan, who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for our growing organization.

As a Recruiter with Team Wellness, you will:

Implement and maintain the requisition tracking and applicant tracking system for open positions
Develop and implement an effective recruitment strategy, evaluating current needs and expected growth
Develop and implement a “Hire for Fit” initiative, focusing on establishing relationships with hiring managers to identify and select candidates best suited to each role
Provide periodic and annual updates for the executive management team and Human Resources Director on the effectiveness of the company’s recruiting function, including KPI metrics, achievement of goals, and recommendation for improvement
Manage the full cycle recruiting for all open positions, from job requisition creation and posting through offer negotiation and warm handoff for onboarding
Manage the job requisition process, ensuring adherence to staffing budgets and defined compensation ranges
Identify top talent through various sourcing techniques including applications, referrals, job boards, recruiting events, and social media platforms
Collaborate with the executive management team, clinical directors, and the Human Resources Director to develop recruiting plans for new locations, new programs, or growth opportunities
Collaborate with department managers and the Human Resources Director to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
Develop and maintain hiring selection materials
Maintain candidate activity in the applicant tracking system and use reporting, metrics, and analytics to improve recruiting efficiency and outcomes
Coordinate the pre-employment process for selected candidates, including submitting candidates for background, reference, and education checks, pre-hire occupational health screens, and assisting with credential verifications
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Collaborate with Human Resources staff to provide training to hiring managers on interview and selection best practices
Train Human Resources support staff on recruiting processes and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; may substitute commensurate experience, training, or certification in lieu of formal degree if currently in progress
Minimum 2 years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting, required
Previous experience in high-volume recruiting, corporate recruiting, or recruiting in a healthcare setting highly preferred
Proven ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet various deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Outlook
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
