Suboxone Treatment

Detroit, MI (June 21, 2018) – Team Wellness Center recently announced the launch of a Suboxone clinic. The agency is now providing treatment for individuals facing opioid dependency at its Team-East location 6309 Mack Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207.
“Suboxone treatment is a solution that has proven to be effective in helping individuals with an opioid dependence,” said Pamela Jastrabek, President & COO of Team Wellness Center. “Adding the program to our other substance use therapies increases our chances of helping people transition into recovery.”

The program was started in response to Detroit’s growing opioid crisis. According to a report by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory of Affairs, there were 477 drug-related overdose deaths in Detroit between 2013 and 2015.

Suboxone is a prescription medicine used to treat individuals with an opioid dependence. Suboxone treatment is an evidence-based, medication-assisted detox therapy method used to decrease the physical cravings and withdrawal symptoms associated with opioid use.

Team Wellness Center’s substance use disorder treatment program addresses the use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs. Their team of experts use a variety of practices to treat the whole person while holding them accountable for their sobriety outside of the clinic.
