Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an energetic, caring, and well-organized Master’s level social worker or Master’s level professional counselor to work as a Clinical Services Supervisor for one of our outpatient clinics in Detroit. The basic functions will be to supervise and evaluate the clinical treatment approaches of the staff. Lead, coach, mentor and instruct clinical staff by providing orientation and ongoing training. Crisis Transportation Driver

Who We Are Looking For:

Team Wellness Center (TWC) is seeking a chauffeur licensed driver to provide transportation within the community as part of the Crisis Addiction Response Team (CART) program. The CART program dispatches a mobile outreach team to emergency departments at area hospitals to support individuals during a mental health or opioid related crisis. Individuals that have presented at a local ER for substance abuse and/or mental health care, are referred to TWC by the releasing physician. To avoid releasing the member back to the streets where the chance of recidivism within a short period is highly likely, TWC picks the individual up, brings them to our Crisis Stabilization Unit where the team assists them as needed. TWC works with the hospital to ensure that the individual is getting the continuous care in an outpatient setting to reduce the likelihood of a going back to the ER. The Crisis Transportation Driver will provide transportation within the community and will primarily be working with adults. During periods when transportation services are not required, the Crisis Transportation Driver will also assist in the unit with tasks such as admissions, discharges, rounds, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience driving
  • GED/Diploma
  • Must have chauffeurs license or higher
  • Experience driving 16+ people in a shuttle van or bus

We are seeking to hire an Environmental Services Technician. Under the supervision of the Director of Health, Safety & Security, the Environmental Services Technician will maintain facilities in a clean and safe condition, ensure that all OSHA regulations are followed, and maintain all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate stock of maintenance supplies
  • Complete all paperwork requirements regarding Restroom Checks and other maintenance responsibilities
  • Empty all garbage cans on a daily basis
  • Complete thorough cleaning of all restrooms on a daily basis
  • Perform regular inspections (time intervals based on site) of all restrooms to maintain cleanliness, sanitation and supplies throughout the day
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas based on schedule provided by supervisor
  • Perform regular inspections (time intervals based on site) of all areas occupied by member’s; i.e. lobby, skill building area, etc. to maintain cleanliness, sanitation and supplies throughout the day
  • Perform daily inspection of outside smoking and parking areas to maintain cleanliness
  • Utilize appropriate cleaner to wipe down all surfaces
  • Ensure that Maintenance area is clean, organized and in compliance with all regulatory standards and agency policies
  • Ensure that all cleaning products/chemicals are appropriately labeled
  • Ensure that all cleaning products/chemicals are maintained in a secure manner at all times
  • Perform deep cleaning duties based on direction from supervisor
  • Consistently monitor site for potential safety hazards and report to supervisor; i.e. broken furniture, floor hazards, etc
  • Ensure that all lighting fixtures are maintained and in working order

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain buildings by completing all necessary minor repairs under the supervision of a Project Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete all minor structural and equipment repairs as needed (major repairs will be performed under the supervision of licensed contractors as necessary)
  • Perform preventative maintenance, as needed and document all preventative maintenance efforts
  • Assist with renovations/remodeling of building; repair plaster and drywall; paint building structures
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests immediately
  • Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures
  • Report any building repair, needs, and upcoming projects
  • Consistently monitor site for potential safety hazards and report to supervisor; i.e. broken furniture, floor hazards, etc
  • Ensure that all lighting fixtures are maintained and in working order
  • Ensure there are no security hazards in building, respond to emergency codes, maintain safe and secure environment for employees and members
  • Prevent loss and damage by reporting irregularities

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Mental Health Technician (MHT). Under the direction of the Director of Public Safety/Mental Health Technician Supervisor the MHT will monitor assigned facilities and surveillance equipment. They will write reports on daily activities, shift reports, incidents (irregularities, property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, elopements, etc.) while ensuring a safe and secure work environment and promoting a welcoming, recovery-oriented environment. The Mental Health Technician derives his/her authority from the Director of Public Safety or his/her designee for the execution of his/her assigned duties and responsibilities as outlined in this job description.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of Health & Safety policies/procedures and other necessary topics
  • Complete routine Health & Safety monitoring rounds every two hours or as necessary.
  • Assist members/clinical staff by alerting clinical staff of observed behaviors or interaction with members
  • Assist clinical staff by staging responses to codes/incidents to properly allow the treatment teams to assess/treat unusual behavior of members
  • Assist clinical staff by greeting and/or escorting external 1st responders
  • Assist visitors with finding their way through the facilities
  • Monitor and manage entrance/departure doors
  • Dial 911 when necessary and coordinate with third parties accordingly.
  • Guide and assist with emergency preparedness and response drills, including completing the formal report and evaluation of the drill (or real event)
  • Assist with maintaining order and safety during meal service and/or special events
  • Complete incident reports on time and accurately
  • Maintain training relevant for Mental Health Technicians
  • Maintain all required trainings and certifications (including CPR/First Aid)
  • Complete documentation related to all indirect and direct services within 24 hours
  • Attend work related meetings and trainings in a timely and professional manner
  • Be available to members in the event of an emergency
  • Assure members rights are being maintained
  • Support and assist with the coordination of transportation of members (proper documentation MUST be on file with HR).
  • Maintain positive rapport with members, external entities, staff and stakeholders
  • Adheres to TWC public safety dress code:
  • Maintain compliance with Human Resource file, including training and education requirements.
  • Assist with the distribution of medication.
  • Manually or electronically inspection of mail, packages, and equipment entering the facility
  • Survey rooms after an initial knock and announcement before entry. Note: middle of the night surveying may be conducted without a knock to ensure safety from potential smoking in bed and other overnight safety risk
  • Same sex supervision (must stay in the bathroom with member) to collect urine specimens.
  • Act to deter and detect the introduction, making possession, and transfer of contraband to ensure the safety and security of members, staff, and the public.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proven Trained Mental Health First-Aid Completion (provided by TWC)
  • Trained in CPI, HWC or equivalent hands-off behavioral response techniques (Provided by TWC)
  • Successfully complete relative training, as designated by the company
  • Must have effective communication with staff, members, visitors, and persons exhibiting unwanted behaviors. This includes group texting, conference calls, online/in person meetings, etc.
  • Must have the ability to calmly react in high-stress environments while exercising good personal judgment and emotions
  • Ability to lift at least 100 pounds
  • Valid Driver's License with a driving record that is acceptable to the company's insurance policy

We are looking for a passionate and organized Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to be responsible for psychiatric evaluations of consumers including administration and the interpretation of psychometric instruments while providing direct services to agency consumers. The Nurse Practitioner is also responsible for the developments of treatment goals, comprehensive assessments, individual therapy, parent and family training, behavior modification plans and crisis intervention. To be effective at counseling patients, Nurse Practitioners need strong communication skills.
