Psychiatrists treat the biological and psychological components of mental illness simultaneously. They can investigate whether symptoms of mental disorders have physical causes, such as a hormone imbalance or an adverse reaction to medication, or whether psychological symptoms are contributing to physical conditions, such as cardiovascular problems or high blood pressure. Additionally, they can determine whether mental illness contains a social component such as alcohol and/or substance abuse.

Team Wellness Center psychiatrists diagnose and treat all of the above. They work together with members, their families, and a coordinated group of TWC professionals to ensure that members receive the best possible mental health care. They are committed to providing the highest degree of quality of life to members at each stage of treatment. From their initial assessment to their continued rehabilitation and recovery, TWC members can be assured they will be supported by their psychiatrist along their journey.

Our specialized psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses provide care to the members through careful evaluation, regular monitoring, to ensure the individual’s symptoms are managed in the safest and most effective manner.

Sliding Fee Scale

Team Wellness Center provides psychiatric services to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. For those without insurance, we offer a sliding fee scale based on income.
