Detroit, MI (February 3, 2023) – Team Wellness Center has opened its doors to the community as a public warming center for those seeking warmth from the frigid temperatures. With the city experiencing extremely cold temperatures and severe wind chills, Team Wellness Center wants to ensure that no one is left out in the cold.
The Team East location at 6309 Mack Ave. Detroit, MI 48207 serves as a 24-Hour Warming Center as is open to the public 7 days a week.
The Eastern Market location at 2925 Russell St. Detroit, MI 48207 serves as a Daytime Warming Center as is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Visitors can watch television, socialize, or just relax while they warm up in a heated facility. When the warming center at the Eastern Market location closes at 5 p.m., individuals can take a shuttle to the Team East location to stay warm for the evening.
